Get Involved

The Festival depends on you to be successful!

Volunteering

We ♥️ volunteers!

There’s plenty of opportunity to work a small shift as part of the literary festival. To indicate your interest, please fill out a Google Form and our volunteer coordinator will follow up soon.

Programs

We’re planning a series of short programs during the festival. Stay tuned for opportunities to sign up to host/present during one of these sessions.

Author Tables

Authors! Would you like to apply for a table? Please use the sign-up form, below, to add your name to the list. As summer approaches, we’ll assign tables based on space and diversity of genres. (Signing up does not guarantee a spot.)

Spaces are 10′ wide by 6′ deep. Outside, but under covered walkways so no tents needed. Bring your own tables and chairs. Readings and Panels will be inside at the Bluestocking Bookshop and other participating businesses in the town center.

We will be sending out acceptances by the end of April. When we confirm your spot, we ask for a $20 table fee to secure your place and to offset our costs for ensuring a great experience for guest authors.

Please use your legal name.
Please share the name you'd like to go by (e.g., a pen name or other name not associated with your legal name).
Please list the genres you're associated with. If there's more than one, list them in order of priority or title volume.
Address
Please share your primary mailing address. This address is needed for our invoicing system.
Your best-contact phone number.
Please provide the URL to your author website. Your website is not a social-media page. If you do not have a site, leave this item blank.
Please share any links (in full URL format) you'd like associated with your account.
Volunteer Support
Food trucks are available for purchasing lunch. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with running food if you do not wish to leave your table. You may also opt to bring your own lunch. Checking this box (or leaving it blank) does not commit you to using or not-using a volunteer; rather, it merely helps us to plan ahead.
Author Mingle
A casual author mingle event will be held at the Bluestocking Bookshop (at the Holland Town Center) after the Festival concludes. Food and beverages are provided. Please let us know your inclination -- this is not a fixed RSVP but rather a way for us to estimate an order-of-magnitude headcount for event planning.
During the Festival, we will offer interactive programming. Time and space are limited but we will accommodate as many authors as we can. Please indicate your interest with this drop-down field. In the "comments" box below, list the single genre you'd be willing to join as a panelist.
Please share any additional information you think is relevant to your application. This box is not appropriate for questions -- we ask that you send an email to AUTHORS@HOLLANDLITFEST.ORG to present questions.
